Nothing on this site is dental or medical advice, and nothing here creates a clinician–patient relationship. Our procedure pages describe what to look for and what to ask; they cannot tell you what treatment you need. Only a dentist who has examined you can do that. If you have a dental emergency, contact a practice or emergency service directly rather than reading this site.
What a listing means, and what it does not
A listing means a dentist was nominated, and that we reviewed their record against our published criteria on the date shown on the listing. It is a review of a record at a point in time.
It is not a guarantee of any outcome, not a warranty of anyone's current competence, licensure or insurance status, and not a promise that a given practice is right for you. Circumstances change after a review. Verify licensure with your state board and confirm anything that matters directly with the practice.
What cannot be bought
A review cannot be bought and a listing cannot be bought. A practice cannot pay to be reviewed, to be listed, to rank higher, or to have a decision revisited. Listings are ordered by date of review, and nothing a practice pays changes that order. There is no sponsored ranking and no third-party advertising on this site.
What may involve a fee is a featured listing page — the profile page itself, once a listing decision has already been made. It does not affect whether a dentist is reviewed, whether they are listed, or where they appear in a list. This is the same disclosure every nominee signs before review begins, and we would rather state it plainly here than have it read as something we left out.
Information supplied by practices
Practice details, written statements, hours, procedures and case studies are supplied by the practices themselves and published as supplied. We review submissions, but we do not independently verify every claim. If you are a listed dentist, you are responsible for the accuracy of what you submit and for keeping it current, and you confirm you are entitled to publish it.
Patient case studies
A practice may publish before and after imagery only where it holds a signed patient authorization, which it attests to at submission and retains on file. Every case is reviewed by a person for patient-identifying information before it is published. If you are a patient whose image appears here and you did not authorize it, or you have withdrawn authorization, contact us and we will unpublish it while we look into it.
Accounts
Accounts are issued by us, not self-registered. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password to yourself. Tell us promptly if you think it has been compromised. We may suspend or remove an account, or unpublish a listing, where these terms are not being met.
Acceptable use
Do not republish this directory as a competing product, and do not harvest listed dentists' contact details for marketing. Do not submit a nomination you know to be false; do not upload anything you lack the right to share; and do not attempt to access documents or accounts that are not yours.
Reading this site in bulk is fine, and we publish llms.txt and llms-full.txt specifically so that search engines and AI assistants can do it accurately. This clause is about taking the directory and selling it back, not about machines reading a site we wrote to be read.
Accessibility
We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Text meets AA contrast on every surface, the site works from the keyboard, images carry alternative text, and forms have real labels and error messages. We have not completed a formal external audit. If something on this site is difficult or impossible for you to use, tell us and we will fix it and reply to you — that is the fastest route we have to finding what is wrong.
Content and liability
The name, design and editorial content of this site are ours. The site is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for decisions made in reliance on it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes
If these terms change materially, the date above changes with them. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
